L.A.W.-- Mr. President, they are fighting for basic freedoms, such as fair elections. Freedoms you as President of these United States should relish, appreciate and respect. Say something to encourage them!
Instead you sit quiet. You say, "the last thing we should do is play into this....What we can do is bear witness of what happens... so be it... " and you have the gall to quote Martin Luther King. LOL.
Your administration says you're avoiding making us the "scapegoats." We are always the scapegoat with the radicals running Iran and elsewhere... you are a JACK ASS for believing that you can somehow talk and negoiate with these people!!
On December 31, 1981 the Polish people were rising up against a oppressive government. President Reagan said in a radio address, "the Polish government is betraying their people... factories, mines, homes have been assaulted... the government is breaking accords with other governments... we will not do business as usual with this government... they will pay a dear price."
Do you think the Iranians protesting this horrific regime would have you or Reagan in the White House.
What is it Mr. President, I thought we were "global citizens" and now we sit quiet. You are a typicall liberal who talks big and sits quiet when it really matters.
